Third Trimester - already? OMG!

Well, here we are at 27 weeks (and some change) and we are very much excited and petrified at the same time. Here I am sitting in the rocking chair, wondering how I will get everything done! I am sure it will come together.

I went clothes shopping and found some good maternity clothes, but it was hard to part with the cash for clothes I will wear for less than a year.

Kevin is getting the house into shape and I need to get my butt to Goodwill this coming weekend. Good thing they are close!

All is otherwise cruising along - see below for my baby bump definitely showing now!

26 weeks and counting!

This week has started busy as usual! Firefly and I visited the doctor and got a good bill of health. I heard the heartbeat again today which of course I really enjoyed. We had a good update with her and are looking forward to the last weeks with her.

Kevin is looking to start phase 2 of the house flooring project then our garage sale. We really need to empty out the baby's room quickly! I am still procrastinating with all the stuff that has to come out of there.

Nothing else is going, just a week of work for Kevin and I ahead.

Holiday Weekend Fun!

Week 25 has been a busy week. The Nelson family has been in town this weekend and we enjoyed having them here!

On Friday, we spent the evening catching up with the McAuliff family and the Dawson family. It was so good to see everyone. Saturday, the McAuliff and Nelson families came up to our house to enjoy an evening of family fun and celebrate Emma's 1st birthday! It was so much fun to have all 15 of us together - 5 kids under 5 was good fun but it did make Kevin and I look forward to July when Firefly will make the McAuliff side 16!

The week ahead looks plenty busy with work, but nothing too exciting for Firefly. Week 26 we will have a doctor appt, with the family doctor which will be very excited. We have several questions for her, but are looking forward to the next 15 weeks!

Next project - prepare for a garage sale. No date yet, but definitely need to have one sooner than later.

Check out our New Floor!

New Floor Phase 1

Week 24 brings us phase 1 of our renewed house - Kevin has finished the flooring in the front room, dining room and hall way! It is so great - Kev did a great job! And, it really feels like an almost new house! We are painting the hallway today and tomorrow, installing the finishing/trim and then putting the rooms back together.

Our birthday week continues and on Wednesday, the Nelson Family comes to Seattle. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and happy to hear that Lauren is crawling! Should be fun to have the whole clan of McAuliffs in town!

Little Jake Lumbard is still in the NICU in Pleasanton, CA. We have our fingers crossed that he will be heading home with Jeff and Amanda in the next couple of days. GG and Gramps are down to visit this weekend and we hope that GG doesn't have too hard of a time coming home on Sunday!
